The Tacx Flow Smart is a fully interactive trainer that uses an electro-brake for resistance, allowing the trainer to respond to input from a computer or app like Zwift. The Flow Smart can reach a maximum resistance of 800 watts, and realistically mimic a slope up to 6%. The trainer itself is ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart enabled and with an ANT+ USB dongle (sold separately), you dont even need a cycling computer--the trainer connects directly to your home laptop, tablet or smartphone so you can use it with Zwift, Training Peaks, or other 3rd party training software.
